Tarva has spent more than a decade finding different ways into electronic music. From rough Jungle Giants covers pieced together on a loop pedal, to the maximal pull of Skrillex, OWSLA, trap, dubstep and future bass, to discovering techno and club music during 2020, each phase has found its way into the project’s increasingly focused sound.Today, Tarva sits in the sweet spot between uptempo house, UK garage and trance, pairing driving rhythms with bright synths and a strong melodic streak. Latest release “Look Alive” is a high-energy dancefloor heater inspired by the ’90s hard house revival, its uplifting rush carrying a desire to feel alive in a heavy world.Tarva’s music has received support from triple j and triple j Unearthed, with FREEMAN collaboration “Making Moves” landing a national play on Doof.Working independently and regularly collaborating within Brisbane’s production scene, Tarva is a producer with an ear in many places and a growing catalogue built firmly for the club.
